Almost every day we hear news of the death or wounding of a member of our armed forces. I've set myself a challenge to raise some money for a charity which is helping to support the extraordinary brave individuals who have been badly wounded but refuse to give up and are rebuilding their lives with the positive mental attitude that would put the average person to shame.

My challenge is to finish the Belfast Marathon, I will try to run as much of it as I can, but as my first ever marathon I will be happy just to finish!

The target is to raise £262, yes a strange number, basically £10 for each mile.
