Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Cystic Fibrosis is the UK's most common life-threatening inherited disease. For more information see www.cftrust.org.uk/
Many of you will know why CF is a charity that we support, but for those who don't it's due to our son, Jack, having the condition. Each year we raise monies for the CF Trust through organised collections at retail outlets, with our last challenge event being an abseil down the side of Manchester United's Ground.
In 2009, I plan to raise lots of "cash for pain" by taking part in the Cat & Fiddle Challenge (http://www.cftrust.org.uk/help/events/catandfiddle). The 55 mile cycle ride takes a route through Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and the beautiful Peak District National Park, including the infamous Cat and Fiddle climb (7 miles long). My training (in between BMX racing) is to commence in April and I will be aiming to complete the 55 miles in under four hours.
I know that the economy is more than a little screwed up at the moment and cash is tight for most. But please give what you can.
Thanks - Chris, Debbie and Jack
