Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I ran the Reading Half Marathon on 29 March 2009 (1hr 53mins), Blackpool Marathon on 05 April 2009 (4hrs 4mins), and Great Manchester Run 10K on 17 May 2009 (48mins 26 secs) to raise some money for The Down's Syndrome Association.

The association aims to help people with Down's syndrome live full and rewarding lives. The Down's Syndrome Association provides information and support for people with Down's syndrome, their families and carers, and the professionals who work with them.

They strive to improve knowledge of the condition.

They champion the rights of people with Down's syndrome.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Down's Syndrome Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now! Thanks, Mark

About the charity

Children and adults with Down’s syndrome are all unique individuals with their own personalities, family backgrounds and preferences that make them who they are. We aim to create the conditions that all people with Down’s syndrome need to live full and rewarding lives.
