Thanks for visiting the Runaways fundraising page. Angie Young, Neale Jouques, Andy Sneddon and Mike Evans are planning to destroy their feeble bodies, and stretch their friendship  by walking 100K in 30 hours across the Yorkshire Dales on the 30/31st of May 2009.

I am delighted to report that the Runaways completed Trailtrekker just before 10am on Sunday in a time of 26 hours and 57 minutes. The last 10 miles were murderous, but we all had a fantastic experience. Particular thanks to the best support team in the Universe - Mike, Marianne, Peter, and Clive (as well as Sarah and Andy and Co. in the Skipton Branch!). When you are ready to amputate your own feet with a rusty penknife, the sight of four foot baths, a cold beer, and strawberries and cream, is a tonic beyond all belief.
