We grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.  I have to say a huge thank you to FirstGroup and particularly Sir Moir Lockhead who has agreed to match fund every £ that I raise.

My son Thomas was diagnosed with a very serious illness back in 2002 and has had many major operations and faces many more in the future.

Make-A-Wish found out about him and paid for him to have a set of clubs, play 2 rounds of golf at St.Andrews (the home of golf) and stay in the hotel on the course.  This went a long way to helping his rehabilitation.  As a parent I really valued their help and have vowed to help them ever since.

Serious illness with your child is not a nice experience to go through but charities like Make-A-Wish make even the bad times better, but they can't do it without support.

That's why I've chosen to run the 2010 Virgin London Marathon and that's why I'm asking you to support me through your donations.

Your help is greatly appreciated.
