Story

Hi Everybody

This May six members of the online team will be putting their running shoes on in memory of Alex Armstrong. Alex was the first person to push the team to run in the Leeds Half Marathon - Corporate Challenge, so it seemed fitting to run in his memory this year.

All funds raised will be going to the Newlife Foundation - specifically to support research into Noonans Syndrome. Alex suffered from this syndrome and was a very keen supporter of the charity, and often donated his time and support to the foundation. I'm sure he will be very proud to know we are continuing to support in his memory.

We are also hoping to approach O2 to match the amount raised through the O2 Charity Top Up Scheme - hopefully we will be able to double whatever is raised through this scheme. More details on this can be found on vitalO2.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now anything you can contribute will be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions at all please contact rowan.hendry@o2.com.
