I am running to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund after my mother-in-law (Audrey) died in June this year. As a family we learnt a lot about cancer whilst Audrey was ill - 1 in 3 people are directly affected by cancer in their life time.

Pancreatic cancer is the 5th most common cause of cancer death in the UK, but has the lowest survival rate of all cancers. There is no early detection test, treatment is limited and there is no cure.

Survival rates have barely improved in the last 40 years. Pancreatic cancer causes 5% of cancer deaths but only receives 1% of cancer research funding. This needs to increase - so please sponsor me now !
