Story

Every year WORLDwrite volunteers run in the Adidas 5k Women's Challenge in Hyde Park. This year our slogan is 'Open up the Borders-The More the Merrier' in support of everyone moving freely across the world.

All the money raised this year  will support our peers in Ghana who under the new visa points system are not allowed to visit us or work here & send much needed cash home. The government considers Millie (who some of you may know) & our friends in Old Fadama - a shanty town in Ghana - inappropriate people.  They desperately need decent infrastructure, electricity & more, so we're 'running for the light' to support development too! Help us prove it is possible to put a pro-immigration, pro-development message on the map, to challenge all immigration controls & support our peers by sponsoring our team today. The mini-marathon takes place on Sunday 6th September and we need your support to encourage us across the line. Its really simple to sponsor us now, here, on-line.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most effiicient way to donate, as we will receive the money faster and if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added at no cost to you.

Thank you and best wishes from all the WORLDwrite team.
