We improve people's access to clean energy to transform lives & tackle climate change

Story

The short term goal of running4renewables is to raise £35,000 for the Koru Foundation’s renewable energy programme in Africa. The funds will help bring clean energy to poor communities across the region, enabling people to pump clean water, cook food, power homes, schools, health centres and run small businesses.

On 23 May, two Shepherd and Wedderburn Relay Teams 'Feel the (Wedder) Burn' (Suzi, Hannah, Emily and Caroline) and 'Shepherd's Pies' (Matt, Craig, Paul and Keith) will be taking part in an epic 26 mile battle, running the Edinburgh Marathon Hairy Haggis Relay to raise funds for the Koru Foundation.

Both teams share one common goal:  Raise as much money as possible for such a worthy cause ... and leave the other team for dust.
