Story
Welcome Friends and Family,
On May 26th 2008 we are all taking part in the BUPA London 10K run with a view to raising as much money as possible for the Meningitis Research Foundation who continue to do great work in not just research but also in raising awareness and helping with the bereaved. To find out more on how your donations help, please visit www.meningitis.org. We are raising money for the Foundation in the name of Adam Stuart, a true friend to all, who tragically died in October 2007 aged just 17, leaving something missing in all of our lives.
We really do appreciate it if you can dig deep and donate to such a worthy cause. Please find one of those purple 'Sponsor us Now' buttons on this page and donate what you can.
Thank you.
Team Members:
Ben Herring, one of Adam's close friends contracted cancer last summer, but whilst he was undergoing his treatment he was always determined to take part in this run. Ben's treatment had been going very well, so it was a huge shock to all of us to find out that he had taken a turn for the worst at the beginning of March. Despite fighting hard, the tumor grew too fast, and Ben died tragically of 5th March 2008. Ben's brother, Josh will be running on Ben's behalf as he knows how important it was to him. We also plan to raise money for a cancer charity in Ben's name in the future.
