harrys dad.....

This is Megs story.

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to visit our just giving page. I have a few  reasons for running the marathon. Firstly it is an opportunity to raise money for my gorgeouse nephew Harry. He is the happiest, cutiest boy whom from the outside you would never know has C F. Every day he has his medicines and physio and to him it is just part of his life. He doesn't complain or grumble about it, it is what it is and he is only 2!. Such a brave boy who deserves every chance to help fight and eradicate this awfull disease. His parents, My brother James and Fiancee Zoe do such an amazing job with him and although Harry is the poorly one it must not be forgotten  that they to are affected by his illness. Harry is there little boy so it is not just for him that we all need to do all we can to help see of CF.

My own personal reasons are the same as many. I started running again after having a baby as I'd gotten as huge as a house. This re lit a fire in me and I wanted to challenge myself and achieve something amazing. Getting my butt back into action has made me feel so much better about myself, loose nearly 3 stone and given me something to work towards. So for all these reasons and many more,  I ask that you please donate to Harrys run. Anything will be greatfully received and thank you again for reading our page.

Love Meg xxx
