We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

*** On Monday 26th October we successfully ran the 30th Dublin Marathon, for Marie Curie Cancer Care and in memory of our friend Jade. We are over the moon that we finsihed, it was hard work but we are delighted to have done it and the feeling of crossing the line for such a worthy cause made training and the hours running well worth it.

A huge thank you to everyone that was there to support us, our family and friends, Jades family and friends and all of the wonderful and friendly Dublin spectators that were there cheering on the 1000's of people that were running, we would not have been able to get round without you.

We are all very proud, relieved, exhausted and a little bit sad that its all over but we are still going to carry on supporting Marie Curie and raising any money we can in Jade's memory, so if you would like to donate you can still do so on this site we are extremely grateful for everyones support.

This challenge is over, so while we thinking of the next one please carry on supporting Marie Curie and there wonderful nurses, and we'll carry on trying to do Jade proud.

Thank you so much, the support has been amazing,

Kelly, Lisa, Sarah and Carly

xx

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Jade was one of our friends, she was a best friend to kelly who was one of Jade's bridesmaids and someone that was known to a lot of people around the world, to us Jade was one of the girls.

When jade was ill we got to see first hand the wonderful work that Marie Curie Cancer Care nurses do for terminally ill patients like Jade, and their families. Completely free of charge they support and nurse terminal patients in some of their hardest times.

On October 26th we will be running the Dublin marathon in Jade's memory and to raise as much money as possible for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Jades nurses were real life angels, they helped and supported her in the worst of circumstances, but with their help Jade was able to achieve everything she wanted to in her final days, like have her dream wedding.

Marie Curie Cancer Care nurses work through the day and night to help every day people suffering from a terminal illness feel comfortable in their own homes and in their final days, and they do it all for free. They are such a wonderful cause, so please help us raise as much money as we can for a truly selfless charity.

Thank you,

kelly, Lisa, Sarah, and Carly.
