We care for the homeless of London to improve their lives and offer hope

Story

I hate running. I really do. If I'm honest, I'm really not that big a fan of walking either.

And so I know what you're going to say. "It is only 10k, it is really not that far, you'll do it easily". But you'd be missing the point. It IS far for me. Really far. I've probably never run that far in total in my whole entire life. And I'm totally fine with that.

Until now.

Myself and the following members of Team Olswang will be participating in the London 10k Run on 12 July and we would dearly love you from the bottom of our blood blistered feet to sponsor us in order to help raise money for The Whitechapel Mission:

Simon "I'll be taking it at a" Kanter, James "Man-Whippet" Wyatt, Ben "Man-Kebab" Barlow, Hugo "Foie Gras" Webb, Simon "Barmi" Armitage, Natalie "Flying out of the" Coope, James "Mouth" Ralph, Nick "The Red Baron" Lindsay, Fiona "See ya at the finish line" Bruce, Gordon "gonna run a ston" Ker, Mike "Egg and" Spooner, Madeleine "Master Blaster" Richards and Sarah "Hurricane" Higgins.

For those who don't know, The Whitechapel Mission provide care, clean clothes, toilet facilities and a place for the homeless to shower after a night out on the streets. As well as the best cooked breakfast in London!

The Whitechapel Mission is an inclusive organisation and is open to anyone, no questions. We like them, and we think you'd like them too. We've been supporting them throughout the year and now it is your chance to offer them your support and to help us raise as much money as we can for this great cause.

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Whitechapel Mission gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
