Story
WELCOME!! As some will know, my wonderful, lovely, beautiful sister Joanna was diagnosed with MS earlier this year. Although she would never admit it as she is a stronger girl than I, it has been a tough couple of months for all involved and I'm sure there will be tough patches ahead. Whilst everyone is keeping an ear to the ground for any medical advances the one thing I thought I could contribute was attempting to raise as much cash for the MS Society from now on to make sure nothing is slowing down any progress in the research they do.
So, following that line of thought, my first stop is the New York marathon on November 1st.... An utterly terrifying prospect considering I am definitely not a runner and the last run I had done before I started training was cross-country aged 13!! Luckily I am running with some top guys who have all agreed to also do it for Jo as well, if you have a chance check out their pages as well:

So if you could give as much as you can and forgive my hassling over the next couple of months, we could really achieve something special.
Thanks for your time,
R xx
P.S. I will try to post some updates of my training on my blog (http://rupertlp.blogspot.com/) and/or on Twitter (http://twitter.com/RupertLP)
