I AM RUNNING A MARATHON!!!

That's right, I wasn't joking! Alone this should have you scrambling for the donate button!!!

...So I woke up one day with the desire to attempt one of the most challenging endurance events there is - 26 miles of pure blood sweat and tears. Mid life crisis? Maybe, but I'm so excited to be taking on the challenge, and I'm proud to run for and represent the charity NCYPE - The National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy.

Most of you will be asking, why NCYPE?... Epilepsy is the most common neurological disorder in childhood. It affects more than 75,000 children and young people in the UK alone. It is NCYPE that provides care for young people with epilepsy who suffer from complex problems. As a centre for expertise for all young people with epilepsy, NCYPE has over 100 years' experience to share - creating better futures for young lives with epilepsy.

I grew up in the dark about the effects of epilepsy, and it was only when I met my wife's family that I became familiar with the condition.
It was NCYPE's St Piers School that helped my sister-in-law through her schooling, and provided her with the support she needed.

NCYPE really made the difference for my sister-in-law and family.
So please help me give them valuable support, so they can continue to help change other families lives. Please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you for your support.
