Story
Hi there..
Just thought I would give you an update..two weeks on and Laura and I are almost over the trauma!!
Thank you all for sponsoring me.. am so chuffed with the amount you have given. The walk was hard going..but given that neither of us had done a stich of training..I suppose thats not surprising!! And doing it at night time was another dimension that we hadn't considered .. we were so tired even before we started!
It took us nine hours to complete the walk..and even managed a final sprint to get to the finish line before 9am!
This photo was taken early on..i can tell because we still look cheery!! Thanks again for your support.
Love Ruth x

I am delighted with your generosity. with Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page. I would be over the moon if you could sponsor me online for the Edinburgh Moonwalk (14th June 2008). Laura and I are still deciding how to decorate our bras and how to master walking warp speed without breaking into a run!
Money donated at events such as this mean that I can share this experience with people who may otherwise not be with us. We can all look more positively to the future too as the specialists get on with searching for successful treatments for Cancer.
Thanks again. Love Ruth x
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Walk The Walk Worldwide will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
