Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Having had an amazing experience in 2008, I've decided to tackle the London Marathon again. This year I am running for The Children's Trust.
The Children's Trust are the most amazing charity and I feel very privileged to be running for them. Based in Tadworth, Surrey, The Trust provides care, education, therapy and rehabilitation to children with multiple disabilities, complex health needs and acquired brain injury. I have helped to organise concerts for The Trust over the past few years, and at one concert, a young man named Alfie Russell gave a speech. Please look at this clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJnaeRE5w-4 to see Alfie and two other children that The Trust has helped. From this, I think you will understand why I feel 26.2 miles is not that far to run.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you so much. I'll keep you posted on my progress!
