On November 20th (less than a month away!) I will be running a 10km in Stratford on Avon. I'm running to raise money for a project very close to mine and my family's heart based in Malawi.

Many schools in Malawi are desperately under provided for meaning that children are often only able to complete the first few years of school, severely limiting their prospects in later life, leaving many without the most basic literacy and numeracy. This project aims to build more school facilities for St. Joseph's Anglican school in Mwanza meaning that the children there will be able to complete four more years of school, completing primary school and making a huge difference to their lives. 

This charity has previously been involved in shipping classroom equipment, hospital supplies, books computers etc and aims to work directly with communities to help improve their situations without simply giving financial handouts. This money will help to fund four new classrooms which will be built using local labour and materials.
