Story

Hey guys thanks for visiting my JustGiving site. Im heading to kenya in March for a month to volunteer in "The Happy House" which is an orphanage been built by Sue Hayward who i met on one of my flights and was completely inspired by her work. Scores of children are orphaned, due to Aids, Malaria and many other diseases these people have to contend with on a day-to-day basis. Frequently children are abandoned. Children are living rough begging for food, searching for scraps amongst rubbish. Children disappear from the village. Where are these kids? Are they still alive? In England a child goes missing it is headline news, in Watamu a child goes missing, who notices? "well it was an orphan!". A place must be built to take care of these very vulnerable children. A place where they can go to sleep and wake up safe and not hungry. A place where they will become secure in the knowledge that someone does care about them. And that place is "The Happy House". Your Genorosity is greatly appreciated. Cheers guys.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
