Story

Hi there,

A massive thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me.

The charity I am running for is Helen & Douglas House which is based in Oxford. This is a truely remarkable charity and by all accounts, one of a kind. Helen & Douglas House provide respite care for children and young adults who suffer from terminal illness, and futhermore provide invaluable support for the families as a whole.

This charity did just this for my cousin, Giles, and his family. Giles sadly passed away in June 2006 from cancer aged 25. The love and support Helen & Douglas House gave Giles, and the extended family, through this time was overwhelming and unfaultering.

Helen & Douglas House is a small charity, who rely on donations of goodwill- I am delighted to have secured my own individual running place for the marathon and proud to be running it for such a worthwhile cause.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. Helen and Douglas House will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your all support.

Sally
