I am going to be doing a sponsored cycle ride for a charity called Open Door (North East) with the rest of the Open Door Team, for the 3rd leg of their Coast to Coast cycling fundraiser. This takes place next Monday 25th May, from Hexham to Tynemouth, which is approximately 35 miles. Those of you who know me, can have a laugh, because by the Wednesday I probably won't be able to walk, let alone get back on my bike!

BUT the pain will be worth it if you sponsor me, and Open Door (North East) is such a good cause! Look to left of page for info on the work they do for destitute asylum seekers in Tyneside. Just one fact that is thought provoking, in Newcastle upon Tyne alone there are at least 300 destitute asylum seekers, and that's just one city!
