<p><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">T</span><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">he Marathon de Sables. </span><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">April 8-14, 2012. </span><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">The "toughest foot race on earth". An endurance race of 151 miles (close to 6 marathons) across the Sahara Desert in Morocco in temperatures of up to 50°C (120°F). Why would anyone in their right mind attempt this? </span><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><strong><a href="http://www.saharamarathon.co.uk/about.html">http://www.saharamarathon.co.uk/about.html</a></strong></span><br><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br></span><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Part of the answer for me is to raise sponsorship money for Oxfam, a fantastic charity I have supported for many years which works in</span><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"> more than 100 countries to fight poverty through emergency response, development work and campaigning for change. I am paying the full entry cost of the Marathon de Sables myself so all money donated will go direct to charity. </span><strong style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"> </strong><strong><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">So please help Oxfam - and motivate me to keep going - thank you!!</span></strong></p>

I suspect the answer is </span><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">simple: </span><em style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">no-one</em><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"> in their right mind would.</span></span></p>
