Hi All,

Thank you for taking the time out to visit my fundraising page! This year I have set myself the goal of running the Leeds Half Marathon on the 7th September, as well as the Leicester Full Marathon 6 weeks later on the 19th October.

I am running these marathons in honour of a very special friend who tragically passed away in July of this year at the age of 21. Her name was Sami Rhodes. Sami was an incredibly special person… beautiful, bubbly, loving and fun. She was loved by all that knew her and she is missed terribly everyday.

Sami spent several days in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit at Leeds General Infirmary before she passed. The doctors and nurses there not only gave Sami the best care possible, they allowed all her friends the opportunity to visit and say goodbye and were a massive support to Sami’s parents and family. They were wonderfully professional, respectful and a big help to all and because of this all the funds I raise will be donated to the Neuro Intensive Care ward.

Every penny that you can give will make a difference and bring me one step closer to raising as much as possible and reaching my goal, so please donate whatever you can for a great cause!
