This year our Cobus Foundation Charity is the Hull Children's University which provide opportunities to children who wouldn't necessarily get the chance without this charity in place. Your donation goes towards providing a place to a local Hull Child getting to experiencing trips such as visiting london and the houses of parliament.

A little about the Charity...

Currently over 16,000 children in our city are living in poverty and these children may not have access to the opportunities that other children may receive. Many of these children have never left Hull and some have never even ventured into the city centre. We strongly believe that ALL children should get to see beyond the end of their street and experience the world around them. We strive to help children believe that they can achieve their dreams and we give them the confidence to try. We believe that every child is intelligent in different ways; they just need to opportunity to discover their hidden talents and ignite their aspirations for the future.

We provide learning experiences for children who would otherwise never get a chance to take part in them. Being an inclusive organisation, we take full classes of children on our experiences and we are proud to say that we are currently working with over 80% of the primary schools in the city and 30% of secondary schools. Whether it is a trip to London to have a sleepover under the dinosaurs in the Natural History Museum or if it is visiting a local business to learn about that industry, all of our children leave these experiences happy, excited and with new aspirations that they will hopefully carry with them into adulthood. We aim to put the fire into their bellies that will help them to succeed!
