The Marine Conservation Society (MCS) is the UK charity dedicated to the protection of our seas, shores and wildlife. MCS campaigns for clean seas and beaches, sustainable fisheries, protection of marine life and their habitats, and the sensitive use of our marine resources for future generations. Through education, community involvement and collaboration, MCS raises awareness of the many threats that face our seas and promotes individual, industry and government action to ensure our seas are fit for life.

Thank you for visiting Sam's fundraising page.

Sam was very passionate about the environment and spent a great deal of his life in the great outdoors mountain biking, walking, camping, skating, swimming, diving and most notably surfing! He felt quite strongly about the work the Marine Conservation Society were doing to protect our seas and was hoping this year to take part in the MCS's Coastal Challenge. I feel that it is therefore fitting that to remember Sam that we can help a cause that was very close to his heart.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate. The Marine Conservation Society will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
