This year for the third time, I am participating in the Adidas Women’s 5K Challenge in Hyde Park taking place on Sunday 6th of September 2009!!

I am running for Friends of Colombia for Social Aid (FOCSA) www.friendsofcolombia.co.uk , and as most of you already know, is a charitable organisation that helps underprivileged children in Colombia. It fulfils its mission by donating medical, educational and other necessary equipment to hospitals and other institutions that have been set up to help these children.

All the money raised by participants in this year’s event, will go to help Asociacion Niños por un Mejor Planeta, a home for very poor children who have been victims of physical and sexual abuse.
