Hospice care eases the physical and emotional pain of death and dying. Letting people focus on living, right until the end. But too many people miss out on this essential care. Hospice UK fights for hospice care for all who need it, for now and forever.

Story

Thank you for visiting the Santander Internal Audit Fundraising page for 2009.

We are taking part in many activities this year to raise money for Help the Hospices. Your contribution and support is very valuable to us.

Some of our upcoming fundraising events are:

Santa Run: Linh Lau and James O'Grady are taking part in a 5km run dressed in a Santa’s outfit!!!!   The event takes place on Sunday 13th December in Regents Park.  Please sponsor our festive duo! And don't forget to come along to watch (and laugh!)!  

 

Our fundraising during 2009 included:

The 3 Peaks Challenge: 18 members of our team climbed the 3 highest mountains in the UK in the UK on the 14th and 15th August : Snowden, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis. Our climbers were: Ian O Toole, Tracy Smart, Alex Nash, Rick Bristow, Nigel Yazdabadi, Amanda Field, David Owen, Neil Robertson, Kathryn Moxley, Carl Moxley, David Newman, Redmond Ramsdale, Praky Kanish, James Long, Rebecca Whitmore, Jing Yu, Andrew Staines, Peter Sen & Steven Wyles.

London Triathlon: 5 colleagues took part in the Olympic Team Relay on 1st & 2nd August, undertaking a 1500m Swim, 40km Bike Ride and 10km Run. Our athletes were: Ally Fingerhut, Alan Pidgeon, Alex Nash, Nigel Yazdabadi & Rick Bristow.
