Story

Some people think I'm bonkers, but I just think I'm free…….either way in 3 months time the generous folk at Canary Wharf Rotary and some help for Canary Wharf Rotaract I will be running the London Marathon (argh!), in a bid to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research Centre.  I hope to plod round the 26.6 miles (thoughts of zooming round are diminishing by the day) and raise £1000 for this charity.  Prostate cancer is one of the most frequently diagnosed male cancers, however it often lacks the publicity and funding which other cancer charities receive.  The Prostate Cancer Research Centre, aims to raise funds to undertake research to improve the survival and quality of life of men with prostate cancer, which hopefully, through this sponsorship we can help to support and increase the awareness of this disease.  For more information:  http://www.prostate-cancer-research.org.uk/

Your support is invaluable…so please sponsor me, and donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

And, if you have an hour or two to spare on the 25th April, please come along and show your support as I run though London…...smiling (in agony)!!!!!
