Hi and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

I have signed up to do the ridiculously hard challenge of cycling from London to Paris on September 29th over 4 days.  This involves days of cycling 80 miles (135km), which is currently chilling me to the bone seeing as I struggle to do 20 on my training rides at the moment!  Anyway, I'm determined to do it - have bought some padded shorts, going to borrow my Mums hybrid bike (slightly more efficient on the road than my mountain bike with front suspension!) and have to just get my butt on the saddle for the next 2 and half months!

Its in aid of the British Skin Foundation who fund the research into skin disorders including skin cancers.  Its a good cause and one in which you probably all will have been affected by.  I'm doing the cycle ride with 4 other colleagues from the Dermatology Department at Nottingham, so hopefully we can help each other get through it!
