Hi Guys!!
Right, well, on Sunday 3rd August, I’m going to be taking part in a skydive for charity!!! It’s a 10000 ft freefall parachute jump taking place in aid of Willowbrook Hospice. I’m sooo scared about jumping/being pushed out of the plane, but I know it’s going to be an amazing experience & I want to raise as much money as I can for Willowbrook!!

A lot of you from home will know Willowbrook; it’s just down the road from my house. Willowbrook Hospice is an independent charity which aims to enhance the quality of life, and relieve the suffering of patients with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses by providing Specialist Palliative Care for those in need and support for their carers.

The hospice relies on fundraising to keep offering its services for free, and without it, would not be able to help so many people. The hospice has been a great help to me & my family, and this is my way of saying thank you! So please help me in helping them to keep providing comfort and support for more people in the future.

Well I did it - I tandem jumped from 14000ft, did a freefall to 5000ft where the parachute opened and we sailed back down to the ground! It was one of the most amazing experiences ever, and even though I was nervous sitting on the edge of the plane, knowing that all the money raised was going to help people at Willowbrook in the same way they helped my Nan made it all worthwhile :) I'd definately do it again for such a worthy cause.
