Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As many of you will know by now, I am taking on the London Marathon for the first time on the 25th April 2010, and have chosen to raise funds for The Warrior Programme.

I have been a supporter of the Warrior Programme since its early days, through the Founding Director, Eva Hamilton, and have had the privilege of meeting a number of the people whose lives have been dramatically changed by it.

The Warrior Programme helps ex Service personnel and homeless people retake control of their lives through a 3 day intensive programme and subsequent monthly support meetings. Since its inception 2 ½ years ago over 300 people have been on the programme, suffering from mild depression to PTSD, and have seen huge beneficial effects which have been sustained long term.

Having had such close contact with those involved and seen such positive changes, I am thrilled to be able to contribute to such a fantastic cause and would like to thank you so much for your donation.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
