In April 2011, I will be running the London marathon for a charity close to home for me and the family - the Silver Star Society at the John Radcliffe hospital (trust number 0347)

I spent a lot of my pregnancy (well when you're on bed rest for a month it feels like a looooong time!) at the John Radcliffe being looked after by the amazing team there and when Ben was born six weeks early by emergency C-Section and spent time in incubators surrounded by scary machines they were the best. Running the London marathon to raise funds for them and other sick mums and babies is my small way of saying thank you for looking after me and my boy!
