Story
Dear Visitor,
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page!
Update - On 15/7/09 we successfully climbed Scafell Pike, in 2 hours and 10 minutes (approx.) Again, thank you to everyone who donated, it has been an amazing response!!
Update - Thank you so much to those who have already donated generously, and helped us to beat our target by an incredible amount.
In mid-July, we four from Ibstock Place School - Sasha Gibbins, Andrew Fleming, Sean Ritchie and Oliver Itkin - are going to the Lake District, where we will be staying with a man, David Killick, who knows the Lake District very well. He will be leading us on a climb of highest mountain in England, Scafell Pike, which is 3209 feet high, in an attempt to raise money for the charity Momentum (see information to the left and their website here). Ibstock Place School chose Momentum as its charity for this academic year, and we hope to raise at least £1000 for this worthwhile cause.
The climb up is a tough one, and will take a whole day to complete, so please donate generously!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Momentum gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now as every donation helps!
Thank you so much
Sasha Gibbins
