Story

We thank you for supporting our Superspeciality hospital in Kheda, India with the previous CT scanner appeal. The purchase of this Scanner allowed the hospital to open in February 2010.

We have undertaken a medical camp in July 2010 seeing over 1000 patients for free, including feeding them and their families. Our next step was to raise further funds to build an operating room which was successfully inaugurated in July 2010.

Our next task is to set up a Women's and Children's Health Centre as part of the main hospital. Our target of £140,000 is a relatively small amount to offer such a needed and important service. Often, this group is neglected and we at MDCF are passionate about helping to balance the health imbalance we have witnessed.

The basic hospital is running in a sustained capacity but we will now need to expand services such as operations and intensive care.

MDCF is a donation equivalent charity, meaning all running costs for the charity are absorbed by the volunteer trustees. This means every penny donated goes to the project
