5/04/08 - Well I did it (see across). It was great fun and not quite as hard as I thought it might be. Running with so many others, all unning for good cuses makes a real difference. Time was a little disapointing at 1 hour 4 mins and I had hped to break the hour but probbly took it a little too easy early on - incentive to do it again next year!

Thanks to all who have supported the fundraising effort, especialy my mate Grant wo against his better judgement did the run with me raising even more funds forYorkhill. 

NB - The website will remain open as there are plans during the rest of the year to try an raise a little more!

Background:

When little Milly faced open heart surgery at 3 months the compassion and skill of the staff at Yorkhill made a terrifying experience manageable. The people there do amazing things each and every day and I plead for your support in helping them to continue to do so. Yorkhill is a amazing place and your support will help them to continue to make a huge difference to children like Milly and their parents.

I will be running the Edinburgh 10k in May and whilst multiple broken ankles / ligaments may make this a little painfull, it will be a tiny price to pay to get your financial suport for what is cause close to my heart. Other events will continue thru the year and this site will therefore remain available for donations post the Edinburgh run.
