Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support
Story

On June the 26th, the 4 of us will embark on a golfing marathon to raise funds for MacMIllan. We start at 6am, playing 4 of the most challenging courses in the Dundee area. We begin playing a relatively new course situated at Piperdam, situated on the outskirts of the city. From there, we progress to Camperdown golf course, one of the true hidden gems in Scottish golf. Our 3rd course see's a trip to a relatively new course to the Dundee scene in Ballumbie Castle which has blossomed into a wonderful course in recent years. To close our day, we shall tee off into the twilight at Downfield Golf Club - another Open Qualifying course and one of the most stunning courses in Scotland. We aim to stagger into the 19th hole around 9.30-10pm! That's almost 16 hours of golfing and travelling between courses - a very arduous task indeed!
MacMillan hold a special place in my heart after we lost my nana to cancer 4 years ago, on Christmas Eve - I'm sure each of the other team-members will also have their own stories and heartfelt tales, hence their willingness to be a part of this challenge.
Cancer affects so many people in the UK each year that MacMillan are a very worthwhile cause; one i'm happy to support!
