70,000 disabled children and young people don’t have a wheelchair appropriate to their needs. That’s where Whizz-Kidz comes in. By providing them with vital mobility equipment they help to transform their lives. And with training to help them get the most out of their equipment, support to develop life skills, and opportunities to meet and have fun, they help them to be something special…a kid just like my sister.

Whizz-Kidz provides disabled children with the a range of mobility equipment to help them be more independent at home, at school and at play.

Whizz-Kidz’ therapists are experts in childhood mobility and assess each child’s individual clinical and ‘lifestyle’ needs in order to provide them with the best possible piece of mobility equipment.

My sister has a form of cerebral palsy that affects her joint movements and mobility. Whizz-kidz provided her with an adapted powerchair to give her independence.

To support and thank them, I am running the London Marathon for my sister and many others like her. By raising awareness about the charity and help they give to so many children and their families, I hope to make "as much as possible" donation so other children get the opportunity of independence, just like my sister.
