This year I am competing in Triathlon for the first time.  The three races I am preparing for are the Cheshire Fun Triathlon (200m swim/20km cycle/2.5km run) on 4th June, the Royles Deva Divas (750m swim/16km cycle/5km run) on 16th July and the North West Sprint Triathlon (500m swim/20km cycle/5km run) on 17th September.  I think I must be mad!

But it is all for a good cause.  The Parkinson's Disease Society is a charity particularly close to my heart.  The Society helps to fund research into Parkinson's Disease, as well as providing much needed support to sufferers and their families.
