Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I am proud to announce that I have completed the infamous Flora London Marathon (26.2 miles ) in 4hours and 12minutes (26th April). It is took a lot of dedication but I was determined to give it my best shot! I am raising sponsorship for this great feat in aid of the Victory Services Club’s Centenary Wing Appeal.

My fundraising is a way of giving something back to our Armed Forces. The Victory Services Club (VSC) is a Tri-service, All ranks Members' Club for both serving and retired members of the Armed Forces. The “Haven for Heroes” scheme offers a 50% discount for those returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Additionally, the Club provides and funds free “Respite and Welfare” breaks for those who have been wounded in these two operational areas. The breaks include provision for a carer, and have benefited those who are genuinely distressed and in need of a break in the Nation’s Capital.

Based in Marble Arch, the facilities include 191 bedrooms (including 9 fully disabled suits), restaurant, bar, reading room, and substantial events and conferencing facilities. With over 28,000 members worldwide, the VSC is the largest military Club in the UK.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Victory (Services) Association Ltd gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
