I am running the Great North Run for Maggies Cancer Care Centres, who make such a difference to people who are fighting cancer, please have a look at their web site to see the good work they do.

I have seen first hand the difference they can make helping people come to terms with and live with cancer. A close friend of mine has recently fought a long and hard battle with lung cancer showing great bravery, courage and determination, Maggies was there for her every step of the way.  

Im running to say thank you to Maggies for all their support they have provided to laura and her family over the past year and also in memory to laura a great friend who put other people first  and always smiled even when times where hard. you will remain in our hearts always xx
