The beautifully appointed venue of Barber&Mack in Harrogate will be hosting The Shave. Proprietor Michael Mackinnon has charitably offered his services free of charge, for which we are hugely grateful. If you are not lucky enough to be perambulating along Montpellier Mews at 4.30 on Saturday, then the following link will take you to a live webcam http://www.ustream.tv/channel/slapheads
enjoy !
THE ORIGINAL MESSAGE
Thanks for visiting our Just Giving Web page.
Doug, Paul and Neil are three likely fellas who would hate to see any of their fellow men deprived of the ability to play pocket billiards. With Testicular Cancer cases on the increase, this could happen simply through a lack of awareness of the health of your meat and two veg.
As part of a scheme of awareness promoting activities in line with Orchids' Male Cancer Awareness Week, the three will be having their heads shaved to raise money for the charity.
The Shave will take place in Leeds on Saturday 17th April 2010. We'll put more details up once the venue is set. If we can get the technology sorted, we will also live stream the event on the internet and hope to get more viewers than the Grand National. OK, maybe not.
This is Mr. Adams' last chance to partake in an event like this and have anybody notice. so Please donate generously!
We chose Orchid because not only do they promote awareness, but they also undertake valuable medical research. For more information on Orchid go to www.orchid-cancer.org.uk
And now for the small print...
