I am raising money for the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home by taking part in a trek to the Himalayas in March 2008.   The wonderful nursing care provided by the IRHH nurses gave enormous support to my family when my father died and this trip will enable me to help them continue the good work that they do.  The charity relies heavily on fundraising and donations for most of its income and £2.9m will be needed this year to fund the service.  The cost of the trip is being paid for by me so any sponsorship money I raise will go direct to Iain Rennie.
