Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I am going to be participating in a charity bike ride between 11th June and 2nd July 2009 in memory of my mum, June Ford, who passed away in January 2009 after a long battle against ovarian cancer. I will be covering a total of approximately 3500km in 21 days, cycling over 100 miles a day around the Great British border.

The aim of the ride is to raise as much money and awareness for the hospice at home facility as a whole and for the Pendleside Hospice team whom helped support my family but most importantly my mum during this very sad time and made her last days as comfortable and as happy as possible, without their help and the invaluable work they do my mum would not of been able to come home as she had wanted and pass away peacefully in her home. The charity must raise £1,600,000 a year to be able to provide the same help and support to terminally ill patients and their families.
