We support people with sickle cell disease to improve their overall quality of life

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Yes I'm on the run again! On sunday 11th July I will be running  in the British 10k through central London in aid of Sickle Cell Anemia.

This is a disease that affects my little boy Jacob who has the disease. Myself and Savannah  just have the genetic trait.  The past year has been fantastic in terms of raising awareness and I would like to thank you for your support. Sickle cell is a blood disorder with no known cure as yet and we desperately need money to raise awareness, better the lives of sufferers and to help fund further research. Your donation may help to save a life. Too many people are taken from us from this horrible painfull disease

This is our major fundraising event for the year as we never get charity places in the London marathon as it is dominated by the larger charities.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Sickle Cell Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Look forward to seeing some of you on the day

So please dig deep and donate now.
