Story

Why are 8 people from Specsavers in Guernsey taking their clothes off?  Are they auditioning for Gok Wan's 'How to Look Good Naked'?  Sorry Gok, not this time round!  Instead we are plunging into chilly waters for the 2010 Guernsey Swimarathon - Friday 8th October 2010, 8pm at Beau Sejour.

'We' is the winning combination of 4 members of the Specsavers, La Villiaze, Financial Reporting team (Annie, Cathy, Gary and Ros) and 4 members from the Specsavers Guernsey store (Dominic, Katie, Matthew and Phil) united to support the local community and have a bit of a laugh in the process!     (please read on...)

This year the Swimarathon target is to raise £50,000 with the primary beneficiary being the Ron Short Centre - a sheltered workshop and social centre for the Guernsey Society for Physically Disabled People - committed to help and assist people with physical, mobility and sensory disabilities of all ages throughout the Bailiwick of Guernsey.

Please help us to support this local cause by giving generously to sponsor our efforts and antics!  If you're available then why not come along to Beau Sejour to cheer us on, it promises to be a bit of a giggle!!!

Thank you for your kind support!
