Story

What and where?  The Scottish Bikeathon (26 miles), takes place just a few miles from where Paul, Shula, Morven and Finlay live, so we are taking the plunge and planning ahead.   If we can't all make it on the day (life is a bit like that still), at least some of us will try and do it on the day.  If even that is impossible we will do another cycle of a similar length at a later date - not ideal but the best we can do just now! We hope you understand.

Morven will be on a trailer bike behind Paul, and Finlay (all 15plus kg of him) will be in his bike seat on Shula's bike. Fiona is there to encourage us all and carry the snacks.

Why this charity?  The treatment Finlay is receiving is part of a clinical trial that is partly funded by Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. Over the last 30 years or so the survival rate for children with Leukaemia has improved from about 5% to between 80 and 90%, due to the large number of clinical trials that have been able to be carried out.
