Thanks so much for visiting my justgiving site. Before I ask for your money, I'll tell you a little about what I am doing and more importantly, who I am doing it for.

In May this year, myself and 19 other (crazy) people are heading out to Peru to make the journey from Cusco to the lost city of the Incas - Machu Picchu - with the aim of raising £40,000 for RMHC - Ronald McDonald House Charities.

This may be the charity I work for, but believe me it is a priviledge to be involved with, and to fundraise for such a worthy cause. Providing free of charge, 'home away from home' accommodation for families with children in hospital, RMHC wants to keep families together at a time of great distress. Not only does it ease the monetary and time pressures of having a child in hospital (we currently have a family in our Tooting House who have been there almost a year), but children will recover better by having parents and loved ones nearby.

Our current projects include two 60 bedroom Houses at Manchester and Birmingham Children's Hospitals which will have a combined cost of over £15 million. So please, please dig deep and help me raise vital funds for the vital service that RMHC provides.
