So as you will know by now I am taking some time out to give something back and as part of my year long adventure, I am undertaking charity raising events along with my volunteer placements, this charity event is the only one I am asking you for your support... So I have challenged myself to cycle 350 kms or 218 miles across Cuba in less than 5 days, for a very worthwhile cause - Women for Women.  The charity is based in London and supports women and babies and funds raised by Women for Women will support that which we all hold most dear – the birth of a healthy baby – investing in our family’s health. This vital medical research will to some extent affect every man, woman and child in this country.

There are many charities that are close to my heart, however as you know children are a very important part of life and giving them a good start is the best gift we can offer to them and this is my small way of helping.

I am not generally athletic or sporty so for me this is an extra challenge for which your support is greatly appreciated and WILL help motivate me to get back into the saddle after day 1....  So please help and remeber that every penny makes a huge difference
