Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  Sidney was abandoned due to major hip problems and needed urgent veterinary treatment that would normally cost over £8000 to put right.  He has had the head of his femur removed on his left leg and still needs to have the right leg operated on.

12 months ago, Annie from Animals in Need climbed Snowdon to raise the money to pay for Sid's hip operations.  Thanks to her determination, the expertise of Vets 4 Pets who carried out the surgery at cost price and the wonderful girls at Moulton Animal Therapy Centre, Sid is now able prove that their faith in him was not misplaced and is going to climb Snowdon.

Annie did it for Sid, so now Sid is doing it for Annie!  All funds raised for Animals in Need are used for the benefit of abandoned pets.  Some of these animals have been well loved pets whose owners can no longer look after them, but there are those like Sid who have major health problems and are abandoned, but no animal is ever turned away and Annie with the support of her husband Roy and the wonderful volunteers at Animals in Need will do all they can to give the animal a better chance of life.
