The Katine Appeal

In October 2007, the Guardian and Observer embarked on a three-year project to support development work carried out by the African Medical and Research Foundation (Amref) in Katine, a rural sub-county of north-east Uganda.

The £2.5m project has main five goals; To improve the Education, Health and Governance of its population. And also to create better Water supplies and offer people the opportunity to improve their Livelihood.
